Cachedly — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Cachedly mobile app (the "App"). The App is operated by the individual developer Yağmur Karasöğüt. By using the App you agree to these terms. The Turkish version of these terms is available at cachedly.com/terms.

1. The Service

Cachedly helps you identify movies and series you see on social media with the help of AI, save them to your library and lists, share them with others, see where they can be watched and discover new titles and people. The App is not a streaming service; it does not host or broadcast content.

2. Account and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
Your account is created through Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
You can delete your account at any time in the App or at cachedly.com/delete-account.

3. AI Results

Analyses and suggestions are produced by AI and may be wrong or incomplete. Their accuracy is not guaranteed; please check them before relying on them. Only publicly available content is processed for analysis, and your explicit consent is requested first. Do not send images that contain other people's private or sensitive information.

4. Where-to-Watch Information

Streaming availability comes from third-party sources (JustWatch via TMDB) and is shown for your country. It may be out of date or incomplete; please confirm availability on the platform itself. Links offered for public-domain films point only to legal, free sources (such as the Internet Archive).

5. User Content and Social Features

Lists, notes and profile information you create are your content. When you make a list public, other users can see, save and like it, and it may appear in Discover.
People you invite to a list can add titles to it and leave it; as the owner you can manage invitations.
You may not share content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual, spam, or that infringes other people's rights. Usernames and profiles that impersonate others are not allowed.
You can report inappropriate content and block users in the App. We may remove content that breaks these terms and restrict or close accounts.
If you turn on "share publicly" on a title, your rating and note are shown with your username in Discover and to your followers. This is optional and can be turned off at any time. Shared notes must follow the rules in this section.
Other users can find you by username via "Search users" in Discover. You may not use this feature to harass others.

6. Free and Premium Use

Free accounts have a daily AI usage limit and have a limited number of lists and library titles; current limits are shown in the App (titles saved before reaching the limit are never removed). Extra AI credits can be earned by watching rewarded ads. Free use shows banner ads and sponsor cards/lists labelled "Ad". Premium does not show banner (AdMob) ads; sponsor cards/lists from direct partners and announcements may still be shown, labelled "Ad" or "Sponsored". A platform list is labelled "Ad" when there is a paid agreement with that platform and "Popular on platform" otherwise; in both cases it does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by that platform, and the titles are compiled automatically from TMDB data.
A Premium subscription removes or extends these limits; its scope is shown on the subscription screen.
We may change the limits and the free/Premium scope with prior notice.

6.1 Auto-Renewable Subscription (Cachedly Premium)

Plans: Cachedly Premium is offered as a monthly (1 month) and a yearly (1 year) subscription. The current price is shown, in your local currency and including taxes, on the subscription screen and in the store before you buy.
Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (App Store) or Google account (Google Play) at confirmation of purchase. Cachedly never sees your card details.
Auto-renewal: The subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Managing and cancelling: You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time after purchase in your App Store account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep Premium until then.
Free trials: If a free trial is offered, its length is shown on the subscription screen. It converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled by the store (Apple or Google) under its own policies. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
Restore: You can restore your subscription on another device with the same store account using "Restore purchases".
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription; you must cancel it in the store separately.

6.2 License for App Store Users (EULA)

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). If these terms conflict with Apple's Standard EULA, Apple's Standard EULA prevails for App Store users. These terms are between you and Cachedly only, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the App, its maintenance, support or content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms.

7. Prohibited Use

Trying to disrupt the App or its servers, gain unauthorised access, or scrape data in bulk with automated tools
Trying to bypass usage limits or the ad or subscription systems
Using the App to access private accounts or content that requires a login
Using the App for any unlawful purpose

8. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Sources

The App's design, software and brand belong to Cachedly. Movie, series and person information, posters and images belong to their respective rights holders. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Platform names and logos are trademarks of their owners; Cachedly is not affiliated with them.

9. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is"; we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions based on AI results, third-party platform information or user content. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. If you breach these terms, we may restrict or terminate your access.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will announce significant changes in the App; continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Your rights as a consumer to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts are reserved.
